Ok, thats true, but is it ok to send a ridiculously late/early time? If it is, ok, we can send the preferred kickoff to 5-6am UTC so with all the calculations the european teams may play like 2 am there or 7-8 am.

Its not fair in any way

By the way, Estrella Roja manager is just totally ridiculous, look at that:

(11:26:25 15/04/2011) fallenefc(Ary Moraes to José Omar Pastoriza)
why cant change the time for Aliança match?
(11:29:50 15/04/2011) jack_red(José Omar Pastoriza to Ary Moraes)
porque jugaríamos con bots

Nice way to develop FID and UFCL/UFIC, good to have players like that

He's so confident of his stupid team that he has to play against bots to stand a chance?

Or he prefers the other team having bots over his own team having bots? Are you willing to sacrifice your own team so the other team can field 11 players?

And another thing : You should send a message in-game to the manager to he know that he should put the prefered time in the link, since use forum in online games is optional. It is an error from the adminstration, why not send a message to managerss in-game ?
- Aliança FC, 1A Brazil.

I don't see why you should offend his team. He chose a preferred kick-off time for his team, you didn't.
Why should he give you an advantage and play with bots in his turn?

The translation of his words on chat is not what you think but:
(11:26:25 15/04/2011) fallenefc(Ary Moraes to José Omar Pastoriza)
why cant change the time for Aliança match?
(11:29:50 15/04/2011) jack_red(José Omar Pastoriza to Ary Moraes)
porque jugaríamos con bots >>> WE WOULD HAVE BOTS IN OUR TEAM

"but is it ok to send a ridiculously late/early time? "

Yeah, a lot of teams are using this method, to break the system . Fortuna did it, and we will play to early, but they will play only 3 hours before the regular kick off.

While you might consider that as a "trick", they still choose to play at such time which is very early for them. Nothing keeps you from doing the same, except the fact that you'd have to get up pretty early smiling

At the moment, this seems like the best way to organise things... If you have a better idea which will have a more fair result for every team, feel free to suggest. But just saying it should be later because my team can only play late in the evening is silly. It doesnt work that way.

I dont get it, why you all refer to regular kick off time, we dont have any regular games on saturdays...
We have people working late on saturdays, thats why we PREFER to play earlier. But as you see, the system is built to not give totally weird times, so in the case of us against Windy City, we played at their prefered kickoff time.

Being in another Swedish team our prefered kick off time is around about the same time, swedes just must be mental like that and want to get up early on Saturdays

And teams complaining about kick off times when the never specified a preffered kick off time are laughable to be honest

Ok, stop crying now, we will play 17 utc vs you next weekend. As I changed my time from 8 utc to 17 utc, I can do it again. And I will, I sent you a PM. And to one of your players who begged using the ingame chat. It's always funnier to beat you when you can feel it. Cool

I think that this UFCL Kick-Off Time, is wrong scheduled:

Quote:
Ursos do Sertão FC v F.C. Garito -----> 22:00:00

Garito Preferred KOT: 20:00-20:00
Garito Regular KOT: 18:15

Ursos Preferred KOT: 23:00-00:30
Ursos Regular KOT: 23:30

The KO Time scheduled is the average time (more or less): 22:00, but this KO Time is 3h45min after our Regular KOT, and 2h after our Preferred KOT...

If we follow this:

Quote:
PLEASE NOTE: We will try our best not to schedule a match to kick off more than 10 hours earlier than a teams normal kick off time, or more than 1 hour later than a teams normal kick off time; however this is not always possible, therefore it is in each team's best interest to specify a 'Preferred Kick-Off Time'.

What time is the right to set the KO? I think that 22:00 is inadequate for our team (F.C. Garito)... Thinking Thinking Thinking

Fixed. For some reason the spreadsheet calculated your preferred kick off time as 20:00 - 22:00 UTC; hence the 22:00 kick off time. Once fixed, changing your preferred kick off time to 20:00 - 20:00 as per the UFCL/UFIC website, this resulted in the kick off time being made 20:00.

19:15 is the latest that WE will set your matches at; however as you have specified to play later (20:00), then this is the latest your matches SHOULD be played, where we are able to control this.
Guess who's back? It's not Slim Shady...
